Car Rental Tangier FAQ: Your Questions Answered

This car rental Tangier FAQ is updated whenever our rules, prices or services change. Open a question to read the answer.

What do I need to rent a car in Tangier?

The Tangier car hire requirements are simple: a valid driving licence held for at least one year, your passport or national ID, and a security deposit. The minimum age is 21, and 25 for premium vehicles.

Can I drive in Morocco with my foreign licence?

Visitors can generally drive with a valid foreign licence for up to twelve months. An International Driving Permit is not a legal requirement for most travellers, but it can help if your licence is not in Latin script. Rules can change, so check the latest requirements before you travel.

How much does it cost to rent a car in Tangier?

Car rental Tangier prices start from the daily rate shown on each car of the fleet. The booking form shows a full estimate for your dates, including extras and any pick-up fee.

Do I pay online when I book?

No. You send a request, we confirm availability and the final price, and you pay at handover as agreed in your confirmation.

Is insurance included?

Basic insurance is included. You can add zero-excess cover, an additional driver, a child seat or GPS when you send your request.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes. The amount depends on the car and is shown in the booking form. Premium cars have a higher deposit.

Can I pick up the car at Tangier airport?

Yes. See Tangier airport car rental. Our agent meets you at arrivals with the keys.

Can I pick up the car at the Tanger Med port?

Yes. Read about Tanger Med car rental and share your ferry details in the request.

Do you deliver to hotels?

Yes. Choose hotel or address in Tangier as your pick-up place and add the address in your message.

Can I rent a car for a month?

Yes. The daily rate drops to the lower long-term rate from 11 days, and 10 days or more earns one extra day free. See monthly car rental Tangier.

What is the minimum rental period?

The minimum rental period is 2 days. The booking form and our team do not accept shorter requests.

Do you offer a free day on long rentals?

Yes. When you rent 10 days or more, one extra day is free. The booking form shows the paid days, the free day and the total before you send your request.

Can I rent in Tangier and return in another city?

Often yes. One-way rentals depend on availability, so mention your return city in the request and we confirm the price.

Can I add a second driver or a child seat?

Yes. Select the extras in step two of the booking form. Their prices are included in your estimate.

What fuel policy do you use?

We explain the fuel policy in your confirmation and at handover. Please return the car with the fuel level agreed in your contract.
